Sins and dancers in Toledo

In Camuñas (Toledo) the celebration of the sacrament of the Eucharist is represented by the grievances by the sins against the happiness that reigns on heaven, and against the virtues. Sins (pecados) and virtues (under the name of danzantes, dancers), together with the madama (a man dressed like a woman, representing the divine grace) perform a dance where the sins drags their canes and howl and when they reach the sacrament they stop, they kneel and they scape with their masks on. The ritual ends with a procession and means the triumph of the good over evil. It is suposse to have ancestral origins and at the XVI century the Catholic church adapted it to praise the Eucharist.
