It’s always nice to see companies that sponsor musical events. And its even more risky and innovative to do it with folk music. This is the case of Huercasa with the Huercasa Country Festival in Riaza (Segovia) this last weekend. They did a good job offering country music from spanish bands and also musicians from abroad like the great Emmylou Harris.
Its not easy to find country music festivals in Spain but globalization is also bringing good things to this land. Other countries are also open to different musics. You can already find first class flamenco festivals all around the world, in places like UK at the Flamenco Festival London or in the USA with the International Flamenco Festival at Alburquerque.
