Not in vain, UNESCO has declared World Heritage emblematic constructions of the Catalan architects Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Doménech i Montaner. Of Roman origin, its long history and economic dynamism have provided Barcelona with an impressive cultural heritage, evident in the conservation of its rich historical-artistic heritage and in the promotion of the most innovative artistic trends.

We start the trip in style with a delicious gourmet dinner while enjoying a fantastic concert in an exclusive Jazz Club chosen by Woody Allen as one of the stages for the filming of his Oscar-winning film "Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona". For this privileged scenario have passed great renowned artists such as Woody Allen and his clarinet, the Yoshida Brothers, Eddy Davis, Conal Fowkes, Doc Scalon Trio, the New Orleans Rag Trio or the Barcelona Swing Serenaders. The building is located right in the center of Barcelona, on the Paseo de Gracia, this authentic jewel of the Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner belongs to the European Route of Modernism.
We will spend the morning enjoying a walking tour focused on the modernist architecture of the city by the hand of a professional architect. With the demolition of the medieval walls in the mid-nineteenth century and the urbanization of the Eixample (widening) designed by the visionary engineer Ildefons Cerdà, Barcelona enters the modern era and the foundations for the metropolis we know today are laid. Born to welcome the bourgeoisie of the time, the new city is structured around the Passeig de Gràcia that acquires its new status as the central axis. The aspiration of a wealthy bourgeoisie, centered on Catalan cultural autonomy, allows an entire generation of exceptional architects and artists to express their creativity to the utmost and become the architects of the emergence of modernism in the city.
Today our expert guide will show us Barcelona as Smart City Model and the newest urban strategies of the city. The remodeling of the "Plaça de les Glòries" located at the intersection of the three main avenues of Barcelona is based on concepts of sustainability and renaturation and aims to convert the current road junction into one of the largest green areas of the city. Adjacent to the future park is the 22@ technology district; an area that includes 200 hectares of the old industrial fabric of Poblenou, and in which the most ambitious urban transformation projects of the last decade are concentrated.
Today is our last day in Barcelona and we encourage you to take the last plane to return to your countries. Do some shopping or visit the city at your own pace.
